- Go to the Settings section of Status Calendar in Slack.
- Click the button to connect your Google account
- Select the Google account you want to use.
- Start by connecting your Google Calendar account in the Settings section of Status Calendar in Slack.
- Make sure you have events in Google Calendar during the time you want your status to change
- In your preferences for Status during events, make sure that you have Automatically update status set to On.
- Go to the Settings section of Status Calendar in Slack.
- Under Status during events, edit your preferences and select the emoji, message and notifications settings you want to use in your status during calendar events.
- Go to the Settings section of Status Calendar in Slack.
- Under Status during events, set Automatically update status to Off
- When you want your updates to be automatic again, simply turn it back to On
